How can I build my Game for Linux?

@simplicius. Yes it is a shame that the product they sell is not actively supported and you have to beg for 4 Months to get a simple file reuploaded.
Do you have a working version of the linux player you can share?

    Wait a minute.
I just re-checked (had not done so since last weekend) and they seem to have done something.
The player zip now downloads correctly. My game still doesn't work (player crashes after a while of black screen with a segfault) but that's details. At least the download seems to be up and working again!

I have checked a few days ago and it was still broken, but you are right. It seems that someone has fixed in this week. The file is not broken now.

I have fixed it today smile So, download the visplayer_linux.zip again from (today) in the wiki, build it and it works.

I built the game with the new zip and did test, sorry it does not work.
    These are the problems encountered:

Linux Mint 17.2 32 bit (after having made it executable by changing permissions)

    "unsupported architecture i686"

Linux Mint 17.3 64 bit I think that the error of the libraries is common because I get the same kind of problem with DOSBox Daum Ykhwong. my system is 64-bit but I also have 32-bit libraries.

"./visplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libavcodec.so.56: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory".

First of all, it's a 64bit program, no support for 32bit linux. You need to start the player with the start file. That should take care of the libraries.

I turned your response to testers.
Only one of the two owns 64 bit Linux.

He confirmed to have all the necessary libraries and asks if the player was created for a specific distro of Linux. Maybe with Mint he can't open it.

He also thinks about what said Gulikoza about DOSBox Daum Ykhwong for linux, which is that "we need to have the source file in our hands and compile it in our distro (impossible if the project is closed source)".

I don't know nothing about Linux, but maybe you can understand what he means.

mmmh do you know something that I don't know?
I have win7 and I build the game correctly (visionaire 4.2), inside the zip file there are all the library... what's wrong?
