I saw the movie because it was banned lol
I'm a Monty Python fan, there's a game of the Holy Grail, not very good though but it was amusing, I doubt it would run on a modern PC, it may run in DosBox

I hope you get somewhere with this wink

    No inspiration this time smile

But the Clockwork movie was almost perfect for a problem to get milk out of a bar.
I get inspired from a lot of things, even from a talk with a nice girl at an backery. So you will also find something like this in the game.

I played a little and i think this would be a nice way to use it (picture below).
Add a closet, put a hat, a stick and some white cloth in it and its almost done.
Ok lots of details and make it more clean to see, but then ...

it wasn't technically banned (apparently) not according to imdb - more removed from shelves at request of Stanley Kubrick; something to do with death threats & a couple of incidents like a teen dressing up in the attire similar to that of Malcolm McDowell & severely beating up a younger child or something.

I'm a fan of Monty Python stuff myself wink "but it's got sharp pointy teeth!" (in regards to a demonic killer fluffy bunny rabbit)

its funny how "sh*t happens" linked to films I've been a motorcyclist since I was 15 and in 79 when Quadrophenia was released it flared up the unrest between the mods and "rockers" again, no were near as bad as it was in the 60's but still, Ironically I'm a massive Who fan and would love to restore an old scooter.. not that I'd ride it I much prefer loud 4 cylinder bikes lol
I always thought Monty humour wouldn't age very well, but seeing my daughter rolling around watching the Grail and my youngest in fits over Basil Fawlty it shows they just did something right that will never be replaced

    I'm a Lumber Jack and I'm ok...

You really have me intrigued Umon, can't wait to see where your going with this, failure is no longer an option razz

take inspiration from where ever you can, just make it your own, all the best comedians in the world work by observing the world around them

ah I remember that film smile
although not partial to scooters or bikes myself - I'm useless with them & tend to fall a lot. (so it's 4 wheels or nada for me I'm afraid)

& aye the art direction seems to be taking a strange direction. nude model/figurine attached to wall & bare legs coming out of the table (reminds me of Beetlejuice for some reason - can't say why mind!)

I was reading something about the movie "Clockwork Orange" i didnt know this was happend.
So maybe it would not be a good idea to use this in a game. Ok maybe just the stuff the wear i the movie as an subtly hint to it.

But i can say one thing for sure, this game with the whole storyline dont go a "normal" way.
It is always close to a border you almost cant cross without running in trouble.

For example the testpicture below. I was thinking of making a almost clear way to show i was inspired from english.
So the best way for me was a white background with an red cross.
But i guess you can easily get this wrong if you see a model in front of a cross ... thinking about some religious direction. So i allways thinking of an way of humor you have to subtly perceptile.
Just playing with the borders and try to dont cross the line. It is funny but not really easy.
It is also hard to bring over violence in an humor way. Still have to do a lot of makovers even if the story is finished cause i think somethimes i go with the graphics over this invisble line.

This game is for sure not for kids, it is my "baby" i have over years in mind and nowhere found something like this to play till now.
Something away from the mainstream and take a big risk with it.
I guess you will hate it or love it i am not sure there will be a way in the middle for this.

haha so if the milk comes from the titty taps what do we get from below?
honey (only thing I can think of to reference nectar at the minute without mentioning golden showers - then again could be orange juice razz)

I think Dead Rising game franchise created a very humorous way to go about killing people & zombies ranging from kids toys to DIY weapons - was a fun game despite a few flaws. I often dressed my character up with a superhero mask & flowers in his hair & then ran round smacking shit out of zombies with toys, the tricycle, wheelchairs with attached battery for a nice shock! grin

Hehe no this part of the model is for something else ... i spoil the riddle, in the end you have to suck a coin out of there, this is dangerous in germany i dont know if they can accept this is only an model a and an subtly way (ok i guess its very clear to understand what you do, but it is still a model) twist

And the Dead Rising is great, but this is what i mean with borders. In germany they have banned this game and you have to import such games, cause it was to "real to much violence ... bla bla bla ..." i cant see what should be real with zombies but this is the way they handle such humor here roll
I loved to beat zombies with this big yellow fluffy thing smile
People over 18 cant see this is a game and not real ??? I cant get this ...
There was a time the talked about to bann Tom & Jerry cause it was to "real". This is ridiculous but this is germany. I dont know if it is cause of history or if they just stupid ...

I think religion, the second world war and politics are the things to stay clear of lol, years ago "the War" was brought up with Matt Kempke and he had the same philosophy, shit happened and no one can change it all we can do is learn from it and not make the same mistakes, it doesn't matter what you try and do some little jumped up do gooder will complain
We have a "gay" game made with VS and although its not my cup of tea it wasn't shunned by anyone as fair as I know
I'm a fan of The Young Ones, a tv series from the early 80's and I was going to do a parody and Cliff Richard was going to be god and Ozzy Osborne Satan, I used to know some guys who were heavily into the VW transporter and Beetle scene who did the usual "stuff" guys like them do, and usually messed up big time lol, they were very easy characters to turn into something funny
