ah! thank you. and how do i change particle systems? i know, how i can adjust a particle system to one scene, but i just didnt find out, how to make it start.
in my scene there will be a fire started. as soon as the fire starts, i want smoke, but not before.

sorry, i should have found out. just in case somebody else had the question: i had to make a new object with a condition "fire burning" and use the particle system under "effects" in the object.

In 4.x I don't think it's possible to create a build up of the particles, but supposedly you can in 5.x as Simon redid the particle system. The particle system is one of the things along with the 3D characters part of the game engine that I'm not very savvy on, sorry.

hm, yes, but then it seems to be nice, but useless to me. since particles overlay every other object, i cannot even "hide" it behind other objects and pull it out softly. the particles start very nicely even if the object is not active. there must be a way to make them start later.
