Looking for game testers!

    Hey,

we (two guys from Germanywink) are looking for some game testers.
We just finished the first Chapter of our little Adventure "A Journey To Negalla", it's about a person called Bufford who got sucked into a portal. He lands in a foreign dimension called Negalla. In the first chapter his task is to escape this dimension. The playtime is not that long (I'd say max. 30 minutes), but it's important to us to correct grammar errors and misspellings, because English isn't our native language.
Negalla takes place in the middleage by the way wink
We have some ideas for the following chapters, but at the moment I think we need something like a "creative kick" wink
Basically we need some volunteering people for testing Negalla and ideas.

If you're interested send us an e-mail at:
    nudelsieb.visionaire@web.de

or leave a message right here in the forum smile
We'll send you a dropbox link or something similar not later than Sunday!

    Dario and David

I am a native English speaker with a flair for wordplay - & grammar to some extent, but mostly wordplay. However I don't think I will sign up, as I would probably end up going all OCD on the ideas & alternative methods &/or solutions to things you have done or have yet to do & I don't really have the time to spare - I do, but I don't if you know what I mean? Good luck with your project & testing though! wink

OK, you are looking for ENGLISH testers, not for GAME testers. I prefer to play in German. I can test a GAME for bugs, using or logic, but NOT if your English is correct. I can't understand all this idiom stuff and this bullshit playing with words I never heart. You should ask a teacher: give your game text as a text file to translate.

First of all, thanks to everyone wink
@machtnix I think the two of us learned a few things today... I've never heard "idiom", I think it's a nice and useful word! Thanks for that smile and you will realise that a "game tester" is something what really exists!
Of course it's mainly about bugs but it would be nice if native speakers could take a look at the language. I think a community should be pretty helpful in general and a community works in a very simple way: you give something, you get something. English is not my first language, I think I may make some mistakes... You can always tell us what we did wrong but please don't if it's super unnecessary. And here "and this bullshit playing with words I never heart" I'd suggest "and this bullshit playing with words I'VE never hearD" wink

And now again in German because you said you prefer using German:

Thanks and sorry for the "inconvenience" wink

Aye wordplay is a big thing with the English language because there are often loads of words you can use that more or less mean the same thing, which gives you some great options for adding a bit of character to your characters!
