Crashing

When I go to load images into character 0, after doing one or two I get an Unhandled Exception Error and the whole thing crashes.

I have tried on two different computers with the same results.

I nearly bought this program yesterday, but this is stopping me........

Could you please provide some specs about the computers you tested on, such as: os, graphics card, cpu & ram please?

Also, have you tried updating your GPU drivers? or rolling them back a version or two as the issue could be related to that.

Tried win7 and win8 compatability still the same issues.

Got some error codes this time:

    werfault.exe

The application was unable to start correctly:

    0xc000012d

    followed by this

    Unknown software exception 0xe06d7363
occurred in application at location 0x000000007552a6f2

    then followed by this

    Computer low on memory

When it crashes are you double clicking the image you are selecting from the browser rather than clicking Open?

The reason I ask is I know another program which uses xwWidgets3 which crashes if images are double clicked rather than selecting and pressing open

I was going to say try version 3.7 but there's no obvious links for it

That sounds like a memory leak issue. Though we've only had reports of that from some NVIDIA users. The only thing I can recommend is either wait for the next update of VS to come out as it is almost a complete overall (new editor, custom framework - no more horrible wxWidgets & will have various new features & some extra platform export options), or use another machine if you have access to one - preferably one with AMD GPU or maybe a dedicated Intel GPU.

No, sorry. Simon estimates that there should be a beta version ready by the end of the year, but I'd take that with a pinch of salt & I'm not sure if it will be internal (team) or public as I don't remember if he told or whether I even asked. Sorry for the inconvenience.
