Is it possible to allow text to appear gradually?

    Hi there,

    I was wondering if it is possible to allow descriptions or blocks of texts to appear gradually.

    Like, word for word, or sentence after sentence.


    Alternatively, are there text codes that can be used within the 'Display Narration Text' command, to pause, or wait?

    I have a rather large block of text, and I would like the first part to appear, and seconds later, the second part.

    Now, the whole text is displayed at once while using 'Display Narration Text', and I can't seem to find ways to gradually make it appear.

    Aye, it's possible with the recent update which introduced ways to style texts & also lets you add transition effects to the text, such as fade in letter by letter, or word by word, etc.

    By the way, if you are just using text only dialogs then you could alternatively use p-tags if you just want to control what chunks of text are shown - they are also covered on the page I just linked above.

    Quick note: p-tags end/clear the current displayed text which means that you need to include the previous text with the next one to display the full text block as intended.

    "hello world..."
    "hello world... goodbye world!"

    If you were on our discord it would be much easier to show & explain things, but I think you should be able to figure it out by reading through the wiki page I linked above.
