Adding filters to music on beggining of scene

    Hi everyone.
quick question, is there a way to add a filter to music background at the beginning of a scene.
Basically what I would like to do is to set a "radio effect" for the background music when entering the game menu on top of the "continue music from previous scene".
Thanks in advance for every piece of info on the matter.

    Cheers
    Cesar

Not currently no, sorry. I am hoping that Simon or David will be able to create some effect modules for the sound engine in a future build. Right now about the only thing you can do is adjust the balance, audio & determine from which position it should start from & play to (via Lua script).

If you want to apply any effects then you will have to do so in a third party DAW for now such as Reason, Studio One, Ableton Live, Cubase, FL Studio, or even Audacity for basic stuff. Sorry.

Is there a way to store the position of a sound and recall it in the next sound? For example if you have a long track for one room and the same track for the next room (only this time with a filter etc) can I somehow store the exact position of the track from the previous room when exiting to apply it as the start of the other track in the second room to ensure a smooth transition?!

To a degree yes, but it's hard to get the exact timing right because of scene fadeout, so you might have to add 500 or 600ms to whatever you saved. This only applies to sounds you triggered via Lua script.

If you are talking about background music then simply having the same audio file assigned to the two scenes will play the music seamlessly into the next scene without pausing / fading out.
