This happens normally if you have a dual gpu in a laptop, try with either of the gpus then. Should be in the context menu.

You gave me a clue about the solution to my problem just like in a graphic novel.
I was able to solve the dark screen problem by accessing Display Settings from the desktop by right-clicking, and then within Graphics I added the Visionaire Editor 5 executable (viseditor) which is located within the folder where the program is installed. Within Graphics I selected High Performance for my Nvidia GeForce RTX card in the viseditor options. Sorry for any possible translation errors by the translator. All the best.
