How to scroll in the console

Hello everybody,

When I open the console in the editor and want to add e.g. an item, it opens my item list, which in my case is longer than the actual screen. I can select single items with the 'Down' and 'Up' keys, but I can't see the entries in the end of the list, because they are out of sight.

According to the console documentation in the wiki, it should be possible to scroll in the output-window by using 'Page Up' and 'Page Down' keys, but this doesn't work. The wiki also says, that it should be possible to jump to the start or end of the list by pressing 'Home/End' while holding 'Ctrl', but this also doesn't work.

Does anybody have the same problem, or does anybody know, how to scroll in the console?

use page up/down keys INGAME after pressing Tab + command + enter  and the output is longer than the screen space  

Visionaire Studio has a basic auto-complete system in the console, so if you know the name more or less of what you are looking for then just start typing it in to filter out all the irrelevant entries from the list.

I use version 4.2.5 on Windows.

What do you mean with ingame? I run the game in the editor, then I press 'TAB' to open the console, then I select 'ADD' as the command, then I select 'ITEM' and then the item-list shows up, where I can select an item by pressing 'Up' and 'Down' arrows and pressing 'ENTER'.  

But the item-list is longer than the actual screen-size, so I don't see the entries at the end of the list. I would like to  scroll down with 'Page Down' to reach the end, which is out of sight, but it doesn't work.

the auto-completion works fine.

Here is what I do....

Now I would like to scroll down to the end of the item list, which is not visible, because the entries are longer than the screen size.

yeah thats not possible. you can only scroll the result pages.

to minimalize the suggestions from the console you need to enter more characters of the searched name. 

well, thanks. Too bad, but at least I know now, that it wasn't an user error and that I'm not stupid at all.
