New site

P.P.S: in regards to the new blog / news blocks you've added above the forum section, I recommend shortening the title with php text shortener thing then display the full title inside of a tooltip on mouse hover. Also maybe consider changing the text comment amount to some icons instead? Maybe add a comment & views icon or something. I think it would look much neater. Also maybe consider adding some styling to the tooltips, like the speech bubble tooltips you had on the previous forum / website.

It was me who added the short news area above the forum, lee. Maybe I will add icons and additional functionality later in the next week.

I highly recommend looking into the php text shortening stuff so that you fit the title on a single line only. The icons would be a nice touch & the styled tooltips too - of course.

Anyway site is coming along nicely.

P.S: quick question: does it always display the most recent news articles or does it hide them after x time passed like on the previous site? Personally I think it's nice if it permanently displays the x most recent articles based on id as you are currently doing.

@Calli - it seems a member deleting their post in a thread doesn't revert back to the last post date or last member to post afterwards. I see someone deleted their post & yet it's still registering them as last person to post in forum board & that yesterday was most recent post when in fact the last post is back to being approx 1+ years ago.

The editor itself seems only to have Bold and Italic editing buttons. The rest is gone. 

I waited a while to write this post to see the developments of the new site.
Unfortunately, since the new website, no longer receiving alert e-mails about posts or newsletters.
In this way I'm no longer informed about Visionaire. Does anyone have the same problem? 


P.S. In the italian website the link "Condizioni generali"  at the bottom of the website gives me "error 404".

there is still something wrong when using the site on the mobile phone. 

is it normal that the main index page is not available anymore and the logo in the header and as well the top level domain redirects directly to the forum directly? 

Think that only occurs when logged in. Was same on the old site?

Also is anyone else having issues changing the language for the forum section? Most sections are defaulting to the English I have selected but since yesterday or the day before the forum is displaying in German & won't let me change it to any other language.

Cheers mate, that seemed to do the trick, but I hate having to do a clear all history nonsense as it always logs me out of forums, email accounts, etc which I then have to try & remember my passwords for. At least it's back to displaying how it should be for me.

Yeah i know that, pretty annoying. You can delete cookies only for this website though.
