How can I have the main menu start button go onto next scene?

So I am a complete newbie to Visionaire and so I followed the tutorial by AFRLme of the condition menu tutorial, It works and that's all the tutorial had. And now I want to know how is, if the player clicks the start button of the menu it would go to next scene. For example, scene of a bedroom. How would this be possible.

Also! Once I hover over the start button of my screen it just stays like that, it doesn't return to the inactive button, I thought my game crashed or lagged.

You need to create a mouse enters & a mouse leaves action for each of the buttons. In the mouse enters you have it show the active state by changing the assigned condition to true or by increasing object visibility if you are using that method instead. In the mouse leaves action you do the opposite.

As for changing to new scene, there's an action under scene action parts called "show scene/menu". Use that.

P.S: you might want to check out some of the demo templates here - fantasy quest would be a good place to start.

Also there's plenty of tutorials listed here. wink
